About this race
The 5th Edition of the Madurai Half Marathon is an initiative promoting a Healthy & Fit Madurai. The event offers 21 KM Half Marathon, 10 KM Run, 5 KM Fun Run and 3 KM Fun Run categories. The 21 KM and 10 KM races start at 5:00 AM, while the 5 KM and 3 KM races start at 6:00 AM. The venue start and finish is MGR Stadium, Race Course Road, Madurai. The 21 KM route uses two loops of 5.25 KM and the 10 KM route is a 5 KM out-and-back course. The 5 KM course has a U-turn at 2.5 KM and the 3 KM course has a U-turn at 1.5 KM. The Half Marathon time limit is 3.30 hours. Participants are offered a unique T-shirt, finisher medal for those who complete the run, timing or participation certificate, hot food and refreshments.
